Charlie has over 35 years of experience in environmental science, environmental consulting, biomass consulting, and project development.

His technical expertise includes biomass supply and procurement, forest resource conservation and development, project siting, and environmental assessment. He has managed major renewable and other energy projects and project teams for a variety of public and private clients. He is an experienced researcher with the ability to understand and integrate inputs from different technical disciplines and to communicate useful information to decision makers.

Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Charlie held senior positions with a major utility’s unregulated independent energy project development subsidiary and a biomass renewable energy project development company. Charlie holds a BS in Botany from Texas A&M, College Station, Texas.
